Your domain becomes your email address
Your domain is the name after the @ in an email address. Hosting its mail requires DNS records that tell other mail servers where to deliver messages. VayloMail provisions the server; you configure your domain after receiving the server details.
Use an email address that already works for checkout. An address on the new mail domain may not receive your setup details until DNS is configured.
Plan DNS changes before moving
The standard onboarding route uses ns1.vaylomail.com and ns2.vaylomail.com. Replacing nameservers changes the authority for the entire DNS zone, including website records. It can interrupt existing services if those records are not preserved.
If you already use another mail provider, host a website on the domain or need to keep existing DNS, contact support before changing anything. Support can advise on adding mail records while retaining your current DNS where supported. Existing messages do not automatically move just because DNS changes.
Read mail in a browser or client
| Service | Connection | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| IMAP | 993 · TLS | Read and organise mail in your mailbox. |
| SMTP submission | 587 · STARTTLS | Submit outgoing mail using authentication. |
| ManageSieve | 4190 | Manage server-side filtering rules. |
| Webmail | Browser | Read mail without installing a desktop client. |
Use the hostname and credentials supplied for your own server. Port numbers are not login credentials.
Understand what private means
The plan is marketed as a dedicated, isolated server with its own IP. That describes the infrastructure arrangement. It does not mean every email is automatically encrypted end to end between sender and recipient.
Transport encryption and mail authentication are different protections: TLS protects supported connections in transit, while SPF, DKIM and DMARC help receivers evaluate message authenticity. Your client and recipients determine any message-level end-to-end encryption.
A server subscription, not a seat price
The mail-server plan is £35 per month or £315 billed annually. The annual option is paid upfront. Review the terms for cancellation and refund conditions before ordering.
Confirm your required mailbox count and storage with support. This page does not promise unlimited storage, unlimited separate users or included migration.
A sensible migration checklist
- Inventory current mailboxes, aliases and website DNS records.
- Confirm the target mailbox structure and storage with support.
- Plan how existing messages will be copied or retained.
- Change mail DNS only after the server is ready.
- Test inbound and outbound mail before retiring the old service.
